I am back in New York for the first time in many months and it feels so good! I am looking forward to collaborating with colleagues old and new on The Turing Project as part of the American Lyric Theater's InsightALT festival. Based on the life of English scientist and World War II code-breaking hero Alan Turing, the opera examines his complex life and tragic death. May 30th at 7 P.M. More info here.
Virginia Opera Concerts in Williamsburg and Norfolk
Two great concerts coming up this week! Virginia Opera Emerging Artists will present programs of opera and broadway, first at the Williamsburg Library on Wednesday, March 6th at 7:30 P.M., and then to Christopher Newport University's Ferguson Center on Sunday, March 10th at 2:30 P.M. I will perform arias and duets with sopranos Natalie Polito and Abigail Paschke, baritones Jeremiah Johnson and David Williams, and tenor Dustin Scott. Information and tickets here.
Master Teacher Series with Jay Lesenger
The Emerging Artists at Virginia Opera will work with director Jay Lesenger over two days of intensive masterclasses, culminating in a performance for subscribers and donors at the Harrison Opera House in Norfolk, VA. I will be offering the Composer's aria from Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos and the Letter Scene from Massenet's Werther.
Winter/Spring at Virginia Opera

The Emerging Artists of Virginia Opera will participate in a two-day masterclass series with world-renowned soprano (and New York-native!) Diana Soviero, culminating in a public concert in Richmond, VA.
Virginia Opera at Lewis Ginter Rose Fest
The Emerging Artists of Virginia Opera will perform at the Lewis Ginter Rose Fest in Richmond, VA. From noon to 3 P.M. on Saturday, October 6th, we will sing arias and duets from such operas as The Marriage of Figaro, La Bohème, and The Barber of Seville. I will perform "Non so più cosa son" and "Smanie implacabili," from two of Mozart's greatest operas, The Marraige of Figaro and Così fan tutte, and "Sous le dôme épais" from Délibes exotic opera Lakmé, with soprano Natalie Polito.
